Chris Breeden
Wire-harness and electrical-systems engineering, design leadership and hands-on project problem solving.
Breeden Wiring Systems combines the accountability of a family-owned business with the perspective of experienced engineers and globally connected collaborators. We help teams turn complex electrical questions into practical, reviewable harness designs.
Chris and Charlene (Charlie) Breeden founded BWS in 2020 to give customers focused wire-harness engineering support without losing the clarity and responsiveness of a smaller business.
Chris brought hands-on drafting and design experience as well as global engineering team leadership. Charlie helped build the business operations and customer continuity around that technical foundation. Today, BWS works alongside engineering organizations that need someone to understand the details, work through change and carry decisions into usable deliverables.
We value practical solutions over unnecessary complexity. Sometimes that means a detailed electrical or 3D design program. Sometimes it means answering the one urgent question keeping a prototype from moving forward.
Wire-harness and electrical-systems engineering, design leadership and hands-on project problem solving.
Operational coordination, customer relationships and the details that keep engagements moving.
The artwork shown is illustrative; approved team and workshop photography may be added later.
We measure the relationship by clarity, responsiveness and work a customer can actually use.
Make responsibilities, technical decisions and unfinished questions visible.
Become an extension of the customer's engineering team, not a disconnected document vendor.
Separate confirmed information from assumptions and make risks discussable early.
Use prototype feedback, field observations and better tools to improve the next release.
BWS is based in the Indianapolis area, but the engineering challenges we work through are not limited by geography.
Experience across internationally connected engineering teams and collaborators informs how we translate requirements, coordinate revisions and prepare handoffs. Project partners, locations and responsibilities are established for each engagement instead of assumed.
Experience spans mobile and industrial applications. The examples below are representative engineering considerations, not disclosures of specific customer projects or qualifications.
Harsh environments, vibration, service access and application-specific reliability.
Long routes, mechanical packaging, environmental protection and modular interfaces.
High/low-voltage interfaces, shielding, architecture and evolving requirements.
Compact packaging, cable motion, maintainability and control-system interfaces.
Weight, installation, documentation and project-specific compliance planning.
Fast revisions, tight spaces, custom interfaces and test-focused validation.
Explore representative engineering deliverables and practical project examples in our portfolio, from electrical documentation and 3D harness development to prototype learning and design improvements.
We will add customer testimonials only when their wording and attribution are approved. In the meantime, we can talk through the types of engineering challenges BWS supports.
Our long-term vision is a controlled thread of requirements, design knowledge, prototype learning and revisions. It builds on hands-on service rather than replacing engineering judgment.
Harness definitions, electrical and mechanical CAD, design recovery, selective prototype support, verification planning and documented change decisions.
Progressive input capture, cross-tool data mapping and governed knowledge workflows. Features are released only when proven, permissioned and reviewed.
